Review Request: My Dearest Rose by Jessie McClain

Review Request Closed

Seems like we have a tearjerker today, folks. Read the blurb, and if you feel that you have enough tissue for this one, please leave your name and email address in the comments section so that Jessie can contact you right away about your review copy. Happy Reading!

Living with the memory of her lost love, her alcoholic and abusive mother, and neurotic dad has left Iris with no more dreams, peace, or faith. Her only sense of joy comes from her younger brother whom she raises. Then she finds a spark of hope that maybe things can change when she meets the mysterious, yet familiar looking roamer, Jason. But can she deal with the past so she can embrace the present?

This ficticious story of Iris and Jason and their lives can be anyones story. Maybe mine, maybe yours. It is life and shows that everything may not turn out perfectly sometimes or how you think it should be. It rarely ever does. What it also shows is that salvation can come from the most unpredictable place, simply because life itself is unpredictable. And just sometimes, all it takes is a stranger to save you and give you something to live for. After all, when all hope is lost, who is it that you cling to?
