How are you all doing? I'm busy as ever and settling back into my University routine, probably for the last time in a while. I captured a few snapshots of what I was wearing yesterday and I thought of sharing them with you, especially since I wore a midi-skirt for the very first time in my life.
I always wanted a midi-skirt, yet since my bum is not the smallest bum in history, I assumed it would make it look rather big. In reality, most midi-skirts I tried on did do that and it's really not nice of them! Most midi-skirts tend to be rather unflattering if you're not slim or or if your lower body is slightly heavier than your upper part. Oh well, I didn't give up and after trying some 100 skirts or so (maybe not that much, but a three digit number always sounds better...) I managed to find a good one at Zara a few weeks ago! The midi-skirt is grey and it came with a cool belt. It's the one I'm wearing in the pictures by the way.
I paired the skirt with a plain white shirt just because I always choose a white top whenever I'm wary about the lower piece. It was my 'first time' (ohhh!) so I played it safe. And I always end up wearing a white shirt somehow hah! I tied my hair back because it was a mess, literally, and I grabbed my favourite brown satchel and brown brogues and left the house.
Halfway on my way to University, I realised I looked like a nun. I do look like a nun right? Funny thing is that the only empty desk at University was the desk next to a nun so I ended up giggling on my own like a weirdo. I bet the nun said a few prayers for my effed up mind!
All the details of the look as well as my LookBook hype button are at the end of the post! Have a great day and be good! :)
