How are you all doing? I'm doing well, thanks. I'm very busy but loving it anyway. For today's post, I'm showing you a couple of items I bought recently. To be honest, I did a lot of shopping recently. I shopped so much that I can't remember what I bought, hence why I'm only showing you some of the items! I'm naughty, I know. Also, I'm in full 'looking forward to Autumn' mode as you can easily deduct by my latest purchases.
To start off, please meet my perfect fur jacket! It's faux fur by the way. I found this precious jewel at the warehouse sale I raved about in my previous recent purchases post. Unfortunately for me, this warehouse sale is over so no more goodies from there. Anyway, this fur jacket originally retailed for 55 euro, but I got it for 10 euro on sale. That's a really good bargain and I'm really in love with it. As some of you might know, I'm really into the fur trend so I couldn't possibly pass this one and leave it on the cold shelf all by itself. I've been looking for something like this for 2 years, so thank God I managed to bag it in time for the upcoming fur-dominated Autumn and Winter.
Thirty blazers in my wardrobe aren't enough. I need more, especially if I find them at ridiculously cheap prices. Do you like this blazer I bought? It was only 10 euro from the aforementioned warehouse sale. In case you're wondering, yes, I did shop like a crazy woman at this sale. Thank God I don't snob sales as I used to do when I was sixteen. Loving the black details on the lapels and the violet lining! I hope you like it too. And if you don't, it's okay anyway!
As Summer draws to a close, I'm coming to terms with the fact that I'm going to have to say goodbye to my straw floppy hats which accompanied me through the very hot days of Summer 2011. Since I'm such a floppy hat fan - they're very me if you get my drift - I decided to buy a felt floppy hat for Autumn and Winter. The good thing about felt hats is that you can also wear them during warmer months as well. This hat is from New Look and it costs 12.99 euro.
Words can't explain the degree of excitement that takes over my body whenever I think about this Autumn's metallic trend. Totally all over the place about it, I swear. I decided that I'm not going to restrict my metallic obsession to clothes, I want to try some other options as well. So, this week I bought myself a little bottle of silver nailpolish by Essence - surprise, surprise! - which costs less than 2 euro. I'm painting my nails tonight and I'll upload a picture on my Facebook page for you to see!
Remember my post on Vampire Lips? Well, I officially joined the dark team. I don't intend to abandon my staple red lip, but I'm definitely experimenting with darker hues in Autumn. Bad ass me! Anyway, after having tried several lipsticks and colours, I found my perfect shade. It's a Gabrini lipstick in number 36. If I'm not mistaken, it costs around 3 euro. With regard to finish, it's matte but still moisturising. Oh, and it has vitamin E in it. It rocks.
Now, ladies and gents, this is my new baby. I got this pal from Parfois on their opening day. I'm really happy Parfois are back in Malta because they're goodies are really high-quality. This bag has a gorgeous crocodile-skin texture and it has the most amazing brown colour ever. I was lucky enough to be one of the first 50 customers on the day, so I got a discount on it. My baby costs 34.90 euro and it has many pretty brothers and sisters - ie. matching items - that I plan to buy sometime.
This is my favourite purchase of the month: my new pair of leopard print loafers. Seriously, leopard print is awesome. Loafers are one of my current obsessions. I had to buy them. The material feels very sturdy, so that's definitely a plus point. Oh, and it has that gorgeous chain detail - which is called 'Snaffle' by the way - which won me over. The sole is self-explanatory, the shoes are from Peacocks. It was love at first sight, after a few seconds I was paying 24.90 euro at the counter and feeling awesome about it.
